This tutorial is specially designed for beginners, you'll learn how to make an avatar without knowing how to link prims, but simply by using the attachment points.

Before learning to build your avatar just a little reminder for beginners: 

It is possible to make avatars other than humans through prims worn as attachment.

- Tinies, or tiny avatars smaller than normal avatars, are in the form of very cute creatures.
The secret to made the tiny avatars is to use an Override Animation (script) and an animation that is the avatar folded upon itself, topped with prim.

-  Furry is an avatar representing anthropomorphic animals, ie animals that stand upright like humans.

- Other forms of avatars who need prims : dragon, monster, Elf etc.

2°) There are 30 total attachment points for the avatar and 8 HUD attachment points which are only visible on the resident's screen

3°) Here are the attachments points on the avatar.

4°) Caution: When you place an object on a attachment point or if you change your point of attachment, you must drop it to the ground. That way the attachment point is stored on the SL server.

5°) To attach an object to your avatar : Open your inventory, right click it and then choose attach to and select the attachment point.
